Our Story

We created Meilin, the combination of our middle names 美 (mei, beautiful), and 林 (lin, forest), after countless conversations between the two of us about our cultural identities. As Chinese-American and Taiwanese-Dutch women, we've spent much our lives walking the line between worlds, wondering where we belong.
 

​Our mission with Meilin is to empower you to celebrate your own cultural identity to guide you towards a path of holistic wellbeing. We want to encourage you to feel authentic, empowered, and beautiful—not by conforming, but by embracing everything that makes you unique.​​

We create wellness products that honor our own cultural identities and organize community events to bring people together. Together, we aim to build a global community proud of their cultural identities and personal growth, embracing wellness as a journey.
